Vermont "Make it With Wool " contest

In an effort to promote the the wonderful fiber we produce in Vermont, and provide a venue for the many talented fiber artists that live in our state, the Vermont Sheep and Goat Association is sponsoring a "Make it With Wool " contest to be held at the Sheep and Wool Festival on September 7th. This is a first time effort that hopefully will bring familiarity with such an event, and more folks will then be interested in entering the national "Make it With Wool" contest.

The Vermont contest will have two categories: Wearables and Household Goods.

There are three age groups: Under 17 yrs, 17-24 yrs, and Adult.

All items must have at least 80% animal fibers.

Bonus points for using Vermont fibers. (click on Business Directory for a listing of  fiber producers)
